Migration Survey
We did a migration survey in our school this year as part of our Colours of Europe project. We wanted to find out how many students in our school are from migration backgrounds and where their families have migrated from and why they migrated to Ireland and whether they are still in touch with home and with their traditions from home and how they manage to do this. We surveyed the first, second and fifth years in our school. We came up with questions we wanted to ask and we composed the survey and typed it out. Three of our students went around and handed out the surveys to the other students and then when they were finished they collected all the surveys and began to process the information. When we had all the information gathered and processed we put it on a power point presentation so it could be easily prsented.
Trip 2: Keczekemet, Hungary
The second trip of the Colours of Europe project took place in Keczekemet, Hungary.

Trip 3: Bad Aibling, Germany
5 TY pupils participated in an action-packed week with the 6 partner schools in the beautiful Bundesland of Bavaria. They practiced their German skills, sampled Bavarian & German cuisine, climbed in the nearby Alps and became cycling pros around the small, friendly towns of Bad Aibling and Rosenheim. Many thanks to the host school and to their brilliant host families.
